Welcome to Kingshill, an infant school with a big heart and even bigger ambitions.

As specialists in Early Years and Key Stage 1, we understand how vital these early foundations are. Our high-quality curriculum is shaped by real-life experiences, rich vocabulary and meaningful opportunities for children to think, explore and grow with increasing independence. Whether it is academic learning, sport, swimming, music, drama, art, design and technology, gardening or cooking, every child is encouraged to discover what they enjoy and what they can excel in.

Warm, trusted relationships lie at the heart of our school. We pride ourselves on being open, honest and deeply supportive of our families, valuing the thoughts and ideas of our whole community.

Because our children are with us for a shorter time than in most primary settings, we are uncompromising in our expectations. We instil the values of hard work, teamwork and respect, always striving to go above and beyond. Our distinctive curriculum includes swimming for all children from Reception to Year 2, one of the many ways we broaden horizons and give every child the very best start.
